Components for a new lighting innovation
Challenge
The new product development team at one of the UK's leading lighting manufacturers were developing a new product. The brief was to create a high-volume, competitively priced suspended luminaire. Allsops were one of the companies invited to tender for the pivotal sheet metal components and were delighted to win.
Results
We placed the challenge in the hands of our product innovations team. Whilst remaining faithful to their brief, Allsops' designers were able to propose a unique solution, minimising tooling and component costs whilst matching the exact performance requirements of the parts. Utilising our upgraded in-house powder-coating facility, we provided the complete solution to their client's needs.
